Great fun! Super recommend. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The views of the endless vineyards and hills were spectacular, and we even got to taste some grapes right off the vines (such different flavors from the supermarket variety)! So interesting to see the stages of the wine making process back at the winery as well. My boyfriend knows a lot about wine, but I know only a little, and still the experience was interesting for both of us. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is interested in wine or just looking for that unique and special Spanish experience.

(P.S. There is *nothing* like fresh pressed olive oil – omg it’s amazing. Spanish trifecta: fresh olive oil, wine, and cheese tasting in gorgeous wine country.❤️)

Wow – this was an absolutely amazing tour around the rugged and very beautiful landscapes of southern Priorat. Our small group headed off in a solid 4×4 vehicle and we were soon out on dirt roads, stopping wherever we asked to get some photos. David our guide took us to some key spots along the way and was very good at explaining the important aspects of each site, including soil and aspect and how the plots were farmed to get the best grapes. No question was too tough but it didn’t feel like a class, his relaxed and informal manner and the small group made it seem more like a trip with friends. Back at the small but cute winery we had a good look around and learned more about the winemaking process and also how they make their own olive oil on site. The wine tasting was a lot of fun and the wines were excellent. Then the cheeses came out and we went back through the wines again and left happy. I’ve been on a lot of the wine tours and this was definitely one of the best, it was so amazing to be able to drive along the most precipitious roads in the real heart of the Priorat vineyards.
